What started in 1978 as a grass-roots effort by Key Biscayne tennis enthusiasts has, over the years, turned into a local favorite for tennis players area-wide. Here, members of all skill levels can meet and compete in a family atmosphere built on the company of friends and the fulfillment of long-term relationships.

We have been here for nearly 30 years and still provide a fun place to meet and make friends, on and off the courts. People like to belong to something. Here, you really can.

Why Play at KBTA?

KBTA has matured into a full-practice facility featuring nine Har-Tru clay courts, four of which are lighted for night play, and one Deco-Turf hard court. As a good neighbor to the Sony-Ericsson Open (formerly known as NASDAQ-100), it has attracted the attention of many top-ranked players - Gustavo Kuerten, Marcelo Rios, Justine Henin, Andy Roddick, and Gabriela Sabatini to name just a few.

KBTA also offers a pro shop, deck seating, restrooms, ice and vending machines and outstanding professional instructions. There is plenty of parking, as KBTA is neatly tucked within the lush, tropical golf course of Key Biscayne.
